Louet 110 cm Spring 2 Floor Loom | I did a lot of research in determining what I wanted in a floor loom as this is a pretty sizeable investment. A very well made, feature rich loom. For the loom nerds:
| July 2025 | |
Ashford 32" Rigid Heddle | I really stepped up my game as I moved from small hand loom to this one. I very quickly began making scarves, towels, lap blankets, etc. It is best for thicker yarns and shorter warps. You can have a ball of yarn in your hand and be weaving within an hour for many projects. | March 2025
Schacht 15" Cricket Rigid Heddle | A smaller, more portable rigid heddle loom I purchased as I move toward a goal of teaching weaving. I purchased the stand as well. | November 2025
Schacht Inkle Loom | A small loom used to weave bands up to 3" wide and as long as 8' | January 2026
Beka 10" Frame Loom | This is the loom that an instructor at The Rogue Skein uses to teach how to weave small tapestry wall hangings. | January 2026
Mirrix Saffron Pocket Tapestry Loom | A foray into tapestry weaving. The advantage of this over other small hand looms is you can adjsut the tension of warp to keep it high for weaving tapestry. | September 2025
Ashford 9"x13" Weaving Frame | It is a very basic frame but I have made modifications to make it table standing and more stable. I use this to primarily make rug mugs while sitting at our dining table watching TV. | July 2025
Friendly Loom Potholder Pro | Just what you you think it is. A throwback to the way many of us first tried weaving. | December 2025
Flax & Twine 8" Hand Loom | My first loom, came as a kit (Callie Linen Coasters Kit). I paid too much but it gave me my first exposure to weaving and started the journey down the Rabbit Hole. | February 2025 |
